For eleven months, I worked as a freelance media/PR consultant and press release writer for Unreel Entertainment, a video streaming startup which allows creators and brands to run their own streaming networks and subscription sites. In this role, I’ve produced and distributed the brand’s press releases, handled press communications, and developed PR/media strategies, all with excellent results.
By January 2016, I’d helped Unreel get their $1 million funding announcement on digital media/online video industry publications StreamDaily.tv and The VideoInk. Three months later in April, I landed coverage for Unreel.me’s launch and $1 million creator appreciation fund on TechCrunch, Tubefilter, and The VideoInk.
Here you can see the press release I wrote for Unreel.me’s launch, as well as the subsequent placement it received on the aforementioned sites:
- Press release: VIDEO DISTRIBUTION PLATFORM UNREEL.ME LAUNCHES WITH $1 MILLION CREATOR APPRECIATION FUND
- “Unreel.me allows creators to build their own video streaming sites and apps” – TechCrunch
- “Unreel.me Offers $1 Million For Creators Who Want To Launch Streaming Sites” – Tubefilter
- “Unreel Entertainment Launches Streaming Platform with $1M Creator ‘Appreciation Fund’” – The VideoInk
